More than 50% of employees deliver at least one presentation per week.
Presentation skills are critical for career success. But for the average employee, creating a great deck is an exhausting task that drains energy, creativity, and hours in the day. That’s where The Slide Master comes in.
When done right…
Presentations have the power to engage.
An effective presentation is more than pretty slides. The story you tell is what will resonate with your audience.
But curating that story takes skill. It’s not something you’re born with — or even a skill set most people learn in school or the workplace. Yet, dense decks and unclear communication can cost more than the audience’s attention.
I teach your team skills they can use for the rest of their career. Principles they can put into action the second they get back to their desks. But most importantly, confidence to convey the right message… one that informs, persuades, and inspires an executive audience.
What does it look like when your team can confidently create an effective presentation?
Clear communication
Bad presentations lead to unclear communication and stalled decision-making. Training your team in the skills of impactful presentations helps them curate the right messaging, preventing wordy and dense presentations.
Engaged employees
Nothing shows employees you’re invested in their success like developing skills and career advancement. On top of that, engaged employees are more loyal and can increase company profits by as much as 23%.
Peace of mind
The work your team produces reflects on you. Presentation training can keep you from regularly scrambling to edit a deck or piece together a poorly designed presentation late at night.
Give your team the skills they need to deliver powerful presentations
Looking for something a little more custom?
I can create a training session designed specifically for your team or organization. Presentation training is an excellent addition to department meetings, company off-sites, new hire onboarding, and leadership training. Despite PowerPoint getting a less-than-exciting rap, my presentations are engaging and - dare I say - fun. Your team will walk away feeling inspired and excited to put their training into action.
So, what exactly makes me The Slide Master?
After graduating from Southern Methodist University with my MBA, I dove into the deep end of executive-level storytelling and presentations through management consulting.
Over the past decade, I’ve worked in corporate strategy, planning, and training sales teams. I currently teach MBA-level Business Presentation Techniques at SMU’s Cox School of Business where I get to guide future leaders in creating and delivering executive presentations.
I often say teaching is the job I’d do for free because I love it so much. My goal is to show my energy, passion, and knowledge in every training I do. Your employees will leave my session with skills that immediately boost decision-making and create a more effective team dynamic.

The two signature masterclass offerings are a great place to start. Think about “Executive Presentation Essentials” as the 101-level offering and “Data Visualizations & Data Storytelling” as the 201-level offering.
These two classes cover the topics that most teams struggle with: how to create a concise and clear visual and verbal story and how to tell a data-centric story effectively.

I completely understand! After leading the Training & Development team at Southwest Business, I very much understand the hard dollar cost of training but also the expense of having employees step away from their work for a few hours to be trained - that time is valuable!
Gallup’s extensive research on employee engagement has shown several things: effective training leads to more engaged, more productive employees who are statistically more likely to stay with their current employer if that employer provides regular training and development opportunities.
Additionally, these training sessions are designed to help your employees build and deliver clear and concise stories that drive decision-making and buy-in and result in time and energy saved.

I only have one rule. “No shirts, no shoes, no slides.”
